what is dtf?

Direct-to-Film (DTF) is the new generation of full-color, digitally printed heat transfers. DTF transfers feature a great stretch, feels light and can be applied on virtually any fabric or blends, including cotton, 50/50, tri-blend, 100% polyester, nylon, rayon as well as most non-woven material, hats, shoes, and many textile-based products.

what item/material can be decorated with dtf?

DTF can be applied on virtually any fabric or blends, including cotton, 50/50, tri-blend, 100% polyester, nylon, rayon as well as most non-woven material, hats, shoes, and most textile-based products with low to no spoilage!

what is a gang sheet?

A gang sheet is an arrangement of multiple different or same design(s) in order to maximize the printable area and save media (film).

what does it feel like?

Our DTF transfers feature a great stretch, and feels light!

how durable dtf is?

Washability is similar to DTG with around 50 washes (inside/out, cold wash, hang dry).

how do i place an order?

Just select the gang sheet size that best fits your project in the top menu bar and hit the "Build your own Gang Sheet" button!


TIP: You'll be able to change the size in the Gang Sheet Builder if needed!

how should i prep the print files?

Print files should be at 300 DPI. We recommend PNG, but JPG, GIF and SVG file formats are also supported.

are dtf transfers safe?

Ours are! Because compliance and safety of the end user as well as everybody involved in the decoration process is our top priority, Our DTF transfers only use OEKO-TEX® certified ink (Mimaki), film (Kodak) and adhesive powder (Kodak)! Certificates available upon request.

where do you ship from?

We ship from Miami, FL 33150.

can i return my transfers?

DTF transfers are custom-printed, just for you! As a result, we do not accept returns.

However, accidents can happen, and your satisfaction is
our top priority! So, if we make a mistake, we are more than happy to
reprint and reship the order if:

  • The product shows any defect that occurred during the printing/fulfillment process,
  • The transfer is damaged (prior to shipping),
  • We accidentally used the wrong artwork(s),
  • We sent the wrong product(s).

what equipment do i need to press dtf transfers?

You need a heat press that can reach a temerature of 320F (160C) and deliver between 30 and 40 PSI of pressure.

what file format can i use with the online gang sheet builder?

You can upload the following file formats...

Bitmap at 300DPI:

  • PNG (Preferred bitmap format)
  • JPG/JPEG
  • PSD

Vector:

  • PDF (Preferred vector format)
  • EPS
  • AI

how should dtf transfers be stored?

DTF transfers can be stored indefinitely in an air-tight container in order to avoid moisture.

do you offer rush service?

Yes, Next Day (25% upcharge) as well as Same Day (50% upcharge) rush services are available.

is local pick-up available?

Yes, if you are in the Miami, FL area, you are welcome to come and pick your DTF transfers up once you got notified that your order is ready.

what gang sheet sizes are available?

Our 30" Extra Wide Gang Sheets have a minimum length of 24" up to 120" in 12" increments as below:

  • 30"x24"
  • 30"x36"
  • 30x48"
  • 30x60"
  • 30x72"
  • 30x84"
  • 30x96"
  • 30x108"
  • 30x120"

how is 30" extra wide gang sheet better than 22"?

At the same per square-foot price, DTF2GO's 30" Extra Wide Gang Sheets offer the opportunity to fit (gang) more transfers per linear foot than on smaller 24" gang sheets, resulting in savings!

how does 30" sheets price compare to standard 24" wide sheets?

DTF2GO's 30" Extra Wide Gang Sheets have the same $3.00 per square-foot price than the small 24" industry standard!

what are turnaround/production times?

Standard turnaround time is 2 to 3 business days.

Two levels of rush service are also available as described below:

  • Next Day: next business day (25% upcharge)
  • Same Day: same business day (50% upcharge)
